Welcome to Asia Rice Foundation USA. ARFUSA is a catalyst for rice research and education connecting rice-producing countries and the USA. The Foundation gives financial awards for research, fellowships, travel or study related to rice for:

Developing country scholars registered in US universities.

American scholars in US or Developing Country universities.

Creative artistic works related to rice in Developing Countries.

Activities to increase US public awareness of rice in the world.
Research about any aspect of rice in the developing world.
Applicants must be registered scholars or faculty members at an accredited institution of higher education. Applications that involve travel and study of US-based scholars at a developing country location are encouraged.
Asia Rice Foundation USA is recognized as a non-profit organization by the United States Internal Revenue Service. We are a volunteer organization whose only costs are for postage, web site and similar expenses, so virtually all the contributions we receive go for our study awards program.
